Complementary Warm Towel and Neck Shave

At Hairzoo every men’s haircut is finished with a complimentary warm neck shave.  This warm neck shave has always been a desirable treatment option at every barber shop and rarely do hair salons offer this luxurious service.

PROCEDURE:

1. Every male haircut receives a complimentary warm neck shave. This happens on the nape of the neck and behind the ear.  This is also a menu item called Neck Clean Up.
2. Complete haircut and style as desired in chair
3. Place a dry towel over the guest collar to prevent from shaving cream getting on the collar
4. Remove a hot towel from the towel warmer, shake out and test to ensure it’s at a comfortable temperature
5. Every male haircut receives a complimentary warm neck shave. This happens on the nape of the neck and behind the ear.  This is also a menu item called Neck Clean Up.
6. Place hot towel on the neck of the guest and behind the ear for 1-2 minute opening up the pours
   1. Remove the towel and place over the free arm not holding onto the feather razor
   2. Moisturize the nape of the neck and behind ear area with shave cream.  Make sure you can see the skin surface and not covered by shaving cream. 
   3. Using small strokes shave the nape of neck and behind the ear area holding the feather razor at a 45-degree angle. Wipe the excess hair from the razor on the towel placed over the free arm
   4. Once completed remove any access shave cream with the hot towel and wipe clean the entire neck and behind the ears

The warm neck shave is started at the end of the haircut by placing a warm towel on the nape of the neck to moisturize the skin, open the pores, and soften the hair to ensure all of the unwanted hairs are removed. The warm neck shave can also be used as an exfoliating treatment for a cleaner and smoother shave.  A warm neck shave provides the finishing touch that every man wants to leave with after getting a fresh haircut.
