2015 was huge in terms of beauty and hair trends. There were numerous interesting hair trends that had their moments last year, like ombre, lob haircut, pink hair, the 'bronde' became popular at one point too and I believe the biggest hair trend after lob was the grey hair trend aka 'the granny hair'. So, yeah, we had abundant hair trends to choose from last year but what about 2016? Which hair trend is hot this year? Here are 5 popular hair trends of 2016.
1| Braided Part
Statement parts with braids and twists are going to be a huge hit in 2016. Many young women are already sporting this look and it won't be long before we see a lot more women pulling off this braided look.
2| Balayage hair
Ombre trend compelled almost every women and even celebrities last year but stylists say that Balayage hair trend is going to take over this year. Women are expected to don their natural hue or may add highlights for texture. All the fun and vibrant hair colors Kylie was seen flaunting last year won't be seen much this year around.
3| Long Hair
It's time to start growing out your lob because long trend is coming back and it's going to be sexier than ever. Stylists suggest that super long extensions are everyone's choices these days. Many models on the runway and celebrities were seen rocking long hair extensions earlier this year. Expect to see soft curls, tighter curls, straight hair and lots of different hairstyles on long hair.
